Ima rare person on all wild game I eat pretty much.
You can grill it but I like to fry it and make a gravy You’re probably right. I usually cook it to medium but didn’t want to hear all the “you’re undercooking it and will die” crowd. Those people don’t know what good wild game tastes like. I like Rare but any Wild Pork i cook is gonna be up to Temp That’s easy for me because I stay away from wild pork. Pork in the store is too cheap to fool with that stanky mess.

One of the best inter loins I ever had was fresh out of the deer and thrown on the grill when I got to the house. Rinsed the blood off them, fired up the charcoal grill and smoked to rare/medium rare. Lip smacking good. Kinda what i shoot for especially with Backstrap. I've had a many cooked by folks that was rare to damn near raw and it chewed like bubble gum & shoe leather but i guess they liked it by Gawd 😅

I’ve cleaned my fair share and refuse to do it anymore. I was probably doing it wrong. I hate fooling with them period.
But if you wanna cook me some for lunch this week I’ll stop by and see if you can change my mind 🤣 If you mean cleaning the deer to get the loins you can get them easily using the gutless method. Just reach in behind the last rib

Is it “inter loins” or “inner loins”? Not being a Karen but just trying to clarify due to being overly cautious with the current climate on here.😂 I call the inner loins or tender loins. Then the back straps are on the back.

My son, professional chef, cooks those skinny things fast with cooking torch. He keeps them as close pure raw as the law will let him.

Tenderloin gets fried. Backstrap gets grilled. I have no idea what temp it is. I cook by look and feel. I don’t use a thermometer to cook.

it's inner, just a old red neck that can't spell! No sir. You made a new Aldeer term. From here on it’s inter loins!
