Next election will be shortly after Trump inauguration. Next LA mayor might be a Trumper, odds are in that direction right now. But it is California and they got Democrat cheating down to the microchip engineering perfection.

Recalling politicians in California is a normal thing. Gavin with the Federal governments assistance basically ended that tradition but they got the process still in place. Too Big to Rig did not win California for Trump and we all know it should have. So maybe after Cash and Company shut down half their illegal money we'll have a chance.

A wealthy businessman (Rick Caruso) whose shopping center is in the middle of the Palisades is now a perfectly untouched and unburned shopping center island in the middle of the city. That guy had a great fire plan built with careful thoughtful common sense and engineering. Like building everything in-line with the prevailing winds instead of against them. Using fire resistant metal roofing, stucco siding with fire resistant paint, and fast cut off electric switches, and so forth. Also he built in fire-water tanks on the premises with private fire fighters who are regular security when they are not fighting a shopping center fire. Restaurants catch on fire daily in shopping centers so common sense says you better have a fire-shop on the campus just for that. He also had full Starlink for the entire shopping center as a luxury thing for customers, but its damn handy in an apocalyptic sh1tstorm. When the guy's fire manager saw the fire was coming, the fire plan had water tankers on retainer so they got called in too which added to his water volume that he already had. People saw his tankers coming well in advance of the fire. The reason he planned to do all that was because that was the kind of plan he was selling to the public to get elected the first time.

That guy, whose shopping center looks like a diamond in a turd right now, ran against the current mayor and lost. But now he is likely first in line to be the new mayor. Folks are obviously saying he started the fires. So he may have actually started the fires considering how things tend to go over there. Never trust California.

But...the real question is would our very own, "Governor Memaw" be better?

She actually keeps things running for disaster stuff better than most states, still not as good as Florida. The reason why is that she has been in state politics for so long, every body knew she was a disaster coming in. So they prepared ahead of time. She pretty much lets the Experts handle that stuff, she knows how to nod and smile and say Prayers and stuff. That method has allowed us to stay mostly alive.
