IF it IS flooded, it is more than likely just worked over, rowed up mud, instead of the standing stubble it used to be. The more they can get prepped before the winter rains, the less they have to do in the spring...i.e. any food left is plowed under before season starts. No food = no ducks. You gonna keep visiting that grocery desert or go somewhere else to find food?? I know what they do!
