Only think is donate to anything to do with Kalifornistan or demokrats is a gallon of gas and a couple of matches

Also, any kind of national charitable donation sent to a charity in California gets skimmed by their charity laws. Gotta love California, all transactions of any kind personal, public, whatever. all of it has a tax attached to it.

I totally agree there should be no taxes on donations toward the Calif. problem. BUT I totally disagree that these people don't need help as much as anyone else!!

What if your house, your neighborhood, was completely destroyed by a fire along with all your town. Would it be okay with you if everyone decided not to help and support you, just because they didn't agree with your politics or religion?

I don’t give 2 shucks what folks feel about me. If they don’t break bread with me or sit at my table then their feelings don’t count.

Any money I donate is with Southern kin in the mountains. Its cold and they aint got houses or roads and FEMA is messing them up at every turn..

Skinny, I support those people also.. They are in the same kind of situation people in Calif. are, but for a different reason. People in The mountains as well as in Calif. as well as Fl. deserve help! We can't help everyone, but we should do our best for those we can no matter where they live when that go thru situations like all these have. They very least we can do is pray for all of them.

Hopefully we will never be in their situations, but if we are, hopefully we will receive some of the help will need.

Every one of us will be donating to California. Insurance companies cross insure with each other. So I'm thinking we all get hit for 20% upcharge on all of our insurance policies.

After 911 my professional errors and omissions year rate went from $3500 to $5000. I owned a small Environmental Company and buddy owned a contracting company. His insurance got bumped about the same fee. We had different insurance agents and different insurance companys. Both agents independently told us that the $1500 bump was our 911 surcharge. So I am pretty sure we will all be donating to Cali.

As you probably were several times because of Hurricanes in Fl., several different times as well as the east this year and problems in Texas. Calif, will now be an additional time. Problem is we can't control these increases even though they may be unfair. We all have to have insurance. Some insurance companies have completely left states like Texas and Fl. due to weather conditions that cost billions.
