Settled atop a small ridge with about an acre and a half out in front of me. Found a scrape, a rub and trail leading right by my tree. First time trying this spot.

I killed a 7 point this morning with grandpa's iron sighted 742 wood master. First deer that's been shot with that gun since 1982. Killed him on my other grandpa's 13 acres in north autauga county. It was a pretty special hunt I'll post pics and a story later
We will burn that bridge when we get there

It was a pretty special hunt I'll post pics and a story later Thats awesome.. My buddy killed a deer friday morning with his dads rifle that passes 4 years ago to the date he shot friday.. Said the gun hasnt been in woods in 20 years..742 woodsmaster..
