Man that’s awesome. Done the same a few years ago and know exactly what you’re talking about emotion wise. Was one of the most memorable moments in my hunting career. Congratulations

A gunsmith told me to shoot only remington corelocks in a 742 and they will hardly ever jam and I've never had a problem

We’ve had a good season so far especially my son. I tell him every time we go hunting that this just doesn’t happen to everyone all the time. I truly believe that someone sends us some of the deer we see and I believe I know who. Congratulations to you on your kill.

Awesome man. I would love to kill one with my dads old 257 Remington model 722. Last time it was shot my dad killed his last deer a 8 point with it about 20 years or so ago. Thanks for sharing

Good job!

The true mark of a man is not how he conducts himself during times of prosperity, but how he conducts himself during times of adversity.
