If we’re going to bait then we need to implement a tag system to help with over harvesting…..Might as well get it over with this coming offseason…..

What is this over harvesting you speak of? Crap.....deer are everywhere.
The true mark of a man is not how he conducts himself during times of prosperity, but how he conducts himself during times of adversity.

If we buy a tag and don’t use it then will it roll over to next season or is that just money lost ?
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself The older I get the better I used to be

Yes, more and more regulation, that is just what we need. We truly are our own worst enemy. No , some are just dumb asses

Serious question. For those other states with physical tags and more severe game law violations, do they have more conservation officers? Yep. And judges that recognize the value of wildlife and the seriousness of game infractions. Hunt without a license and shoot a buck illegally in AL and see what it costs you. Then go any other well managed state in the midwest and do the same thing and let me know if the fines and penalties look any different. It's all about enforcement of the laws that are on the books. Alabama's current regs are probably fine. The problem is the almost complete lack of enforcement of the regs at all levels within the state from the AG&F, all the way down to the prosecuting attorneys and judges.

Alabama doesn’t enforce laws on theft ,trespassing, or drugs, why would anyone think the would for poaching a deer

I been on both sides. Our judicial system is a racket, it is absolutely not fair or just. Its a money making organization, just like everything else in this country. Pretty pathetic situation were in around here. Maybe Trump can reel it in a bit.
