I don’t think of Big Tex as top notch at all, from my own experience.
They are well engineered to be built with the minimal amount of material, and therefore built cheaply. Weld quality is average to below average, with a few failures. Someone had an issues with a trailer on here a few years back. Not sure if it was this Brand. Might've been johndeere5036 but can't remember 🤪

I bought a lonewolf in Falkville years ago to haul my 4 wheeler back and forth to the farm. I payed $700 back then. Good trailer no problems. They are pricey now.

I have one, it's the best heavy duty trailer I've ever owned. I went to the factory in Cordele, Ga. and bought it direct from Big Tex. Well worth the money IMO.

I have a 12 foot single axle Big Tex. It’s ok. Had to have it rewired a few years ago and weld failed on one side of ramp gate wire. They’re not bad but I think there are others like Kaufman that are better

It was a circle w trailer that I had custom built and it was junk. Kaufman to me and top hat makes good trailers. I’ve heard bad things about the big Tex trailers and several people I know got rid of them very quick because they were raggedy. Just my opinion though
