I don’t think of Big Tex as top notch at all, from my own experience.
They are well engineered to be built with the minimal amount of material, and therefore built cheaply. Weld quality is average to below average, with a few failures. Someone had an issues with a trailer on here a few years back. Not sure if it was this Brand. Might've been johndeere5036 but can't remember 🤪 Yes that was me. It was a circle w trailer that I had custom built and it was junk. Kaufman to me and top hat makes good trailers. I’ve heard bad things about the big Tex trailers and several people I know got rid of them very quick because they were raggedy. Just my opinion though Oh i gotcha! Couldn't remember the Brand, but was purty sure it was you that had some issues with one of em for sure 🙂

I had a 16 big tex, no problems other than replacing tires and decking needed replacing after it was 15 years old. Got a single axle big tex 12 footer with high sides. NO issues at all from it.Also have a 20 ft 10000 lb Big tex and no issues with it. They all pull great.
Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts,hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

My buddy use to sell them. He knows i was never gonna buy one but he said they were awesome - he was high on Them

Where is Kaufman located? I’m fact finding for something to haul my tractor with. My 2018 Lawrimore utility trailer has been good to me. When it needed its deck replaced they did it for a fair price. North Carolina They sell factory direct
