I worked with Johnny Ray at the gas company in Selma for two years. Still keep in touch with him not at as much as I should. Actually thought about him this week and was meaning to call him. His niece called me last night after I saw the FB post. Johnny Ray is a strong Christian and would minister and share the gossip with anyone he meets. Only person I know that can call a turkey with a leaf. We are praying for him. A Honeysuckle leaf to be precise. He can make it sound where a Gobbler can't resist it.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Sent. If they are getting him ready for MRI scans and such that means he is stable enough for the right kind of scans. If you have had your neck or shoulder open-MRI scanned you know the person has to be stable enough to do it. So that is positive news in the right direction considering the injuries. If they do closed-MRI and he is stable enough for it, then that is actually a little better overall.

I will be praying for your buddy. This is good reminder about stand/climbing safety guys. I know I should've have done a couple things more safely this season....this is a wake up call.

Been praying for him since Jerry posted that. I met him a few times when he was around my dad long ago. I saw the pic of the stand. The cables on the loc on snapped and it was like he fell through a trap door. More of a reason I'm seriously considering getting life lines. Stands could break, stands can shift, mud on your boots can make your feet slip, I've done all that and have just been lucky.
