Set up on the edge of a hardwood strip that has thick undergrowth all around it.the hardwood strip is about 75 yards across and it backs up to small pines on either side of it. The low spot filled up with water, pushing the deer to the edge I'm sitting on. Several fresh rubs and scrapes that haven't been worked since the rain, maybe a Buck will cruise through this afternoon. It's warm this afternoon, feels more like October than January.
