Do y’all remember the flying lure from about 30 years ago? I fell for it and ordered it from the late night TV commercial. I caught a lot of fish on it, especially bedding bass. I had a family reunion on Pickwick Lake. We threw it towards the deep rocky banks and caught small mouth for the first time. It worked.

I also caught a lot of fish on the helicopter lure. I threw it in the ribbon grass down here on the causeway. That was one of the best night fishing top water bass baits I ever used on a pond.

Remember them well. Do y’all remember the Hannon snake bait and the Bill Dance dancing eel?

Can't believe the Banjo Minnow hasn't been mentioned in this thread!

Caught fish on the banjo minnow, but I couldn't get the helicopter lure to spin properly. I remember the pocket fisherman.

Peach I had the snake and Dancing eel, never caught a thing on them. I think I still have the tornado made by that Shoestring guy, caught some on it!

I used to do really well on the snake bait in a private lake I had permission to fish, but could catch bass anywhere else with it.

When my grandfather passed years ago I was looking through his tackle box. Found some old jitter bugs. Used to catch a lot of fish with them on the Warrior river.

I remember those and fished em

I bought a lure chuck wilory was selling once

Best i ever bought - saw bill dance catch a 13.5 pound bass on a shallow running minnow bait. I went and bought it and second cast caught a 7 pound bass when i was 19 years old. Caught several big fish bigger since - but at the time that was by far my best!! Only fish i ever mounted and caught some 2 1/2 pounds bigger

The yellow sally with a green frog pork rind was a go-to lure back then. When I bass fished with my grandfather as a kid, he almost exclusively used a nip-I-diddy and spin-I-diddy.
