I hated to see them change to the new design, since the ko2s have been so great. I always got 50K miles on my 3/4 ton diesel and got 80K on my 4Runner. Luckily, I was able to replace them with another set of ko2s before the switch over.
I never had any of the wet weather issues with any of my ko2s that others claim to have had.

I have had the KO2's ( not 3's) and Toyo Open Country's No comparison. Toyo hands down. I go through a set of tires every 10k miles so I try something different each time. Toyo AT3’s are a nice tire especially in wet weather. Every Goodrich or Michelin product has better chunking resistance and are tough as heck for me but suck on wet pavement and rocks. I don’t like the tread pattern change with the K03 and would just opt for a KM3 instead In the end for me every tire is torn up by 10k but the Goodrich line takes longer initially to start looking nasty but accelerate after that. Even my Goodrich and Michelins are done by 10k and they won’t warranty them because they claim my off road habits are beyond normal. I think the Goodrich Trail Terrain is better than the all terrains. Its Street or MT for me now.

I don’t, either, but am looking at them, Toyo AT3 or R/T or Nitto Ridge Grappler XL rated. If you don’t need the capacity of E rated, the Nitto XL rated (126 I think) still has 16/32 tread depth (116 rated has 13/32), but less weight and more compliant ride than E. I keep seeing people saying the KO3s are a big improvement over the KO2s in the rain, but don’t remember seeing many higher mileage reports saying good or bad longevity, yet.
experience is a freakin' awesome teacher....

Had several sets. I've got long life out of all. Smooth ride too.
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

I bought a set of 265/75/18 K03's for my '24 Chevy Trail Boss about 3 months ago. Expensive ($1500/set w/road hazard insurance) but seem worth it. Ride extremely well and look great. No noticable wear so far. I would buy again.
