We’ve had tarpon and snook float up dead in Bayou Chico, (Pensacola Bay). Sad!

Can an iguana thaw and come back if they dont freeze too much? Some reptiles are good at doing that.
I'm thinking, pick them up when frozen, they will be easy live bait to work with.

People say the meat is very good in Taco's and such. BUT it stinks really bad when you start cooking it.
People will run for the doors if you cook it inside. I've never had the chance to try it.

I think hunting them has become a thing; people go up and down the canals with high end air rifles.

Nature expressing itself in Civilization. Humans like to shoot critters no matter where they are.

Iguanapops are my wife's worst nightmare. She has an unrational fear of lizards.

Yep. Wife and I done that over the summer. Shot iguanas, caught peacock bass and took an airboat ride through the Everglades

I know a guy who went down there with his cousin on a bow hunt for those things. He said they had a ball.
