Plan to try buck field this evening. First 17 or so days of jan i was blocked out with wrong winds on 2 best spots in clark - think i missed my window. Super frustrating - but next 10 days - minus a few switching winds coming - i got some winds coming i can hunt on best spots

I was easing through the hardwoods and Just had something bump 3 deer past me through the woods so I just stopped and squatted down. A few minutes later here comes a coyote, he proceeds to slip by me at 50yards and hung around for just a few seconds too long. Been covered up with does and young bucks all morning. Then a sounder of hogs comes in and runs the deer off. About 20 hogs. Don’t want to ruin my hunt, but I hate the SOBs. I shoot and drop a big sow in the field and they run off. I think good, gonna let it lay there. Don’t you know the darn things are back out less than a minute later. So I shoot again, hit another and they run off. Hate those jokers spoiling a good deer hunt. Sounds like you just got the beginning of a BBQ!
