Doe harvest in zone c is growing and I'm wondering if that actually might be from population growth.....Its hard to not take the farmer's opinion with a grain of salt though..... wink grin

In all seriousness the population is growing. See deer in fields and on sides of the road almost daily now. Sightings while hunting and game cams are much higher than a few years ago.

Where I hunt in Zone C, deer population is steady to shrinking. That area of Morgan County has always had a low population and with the expansion of doe days, adding 10 more days to length of season and legalized baiting the population that is there is taking a whooping every year.

Morgan isnt showing the same amount of change as the other Zone C/D counties like Lawrence, Marshall, Blount, Etowah

There are does everywhere in my part of Zone C. Saw 22 in an hour sit first week of season. I love it because part of my enjoyment of deer season is aeeing deer.
