I take extreme exception to this post. “Physically Unfit” covers mucho territory besides the few trans and the military has a system for determining fitness for duty.

I'm not a smart guy and I know the difference. The people you are calling "freaks" are, in my mind, not freaks at all. They are people who were injured and deformed either in service or by accident by no choice of their own. A freak is someone who chose to be that way. I take exception to you referring to those 2 gentlemen as freaks.

And he might be but he deserves our utmost respect, but missing a limb, i dont think he would be qualified to be in our military, it is what it is. God bless him, i appreciate his service and i have absolutely no problem with my tax dollars compensationg him greatly for his sacrifices but he certainly cant fight any more.

All this thread does is show many of you don’t really know what qualifies a person to be “fit or unfit” in the military or the regulations that cover medical boards. There have indeed been people missing limbs allowed to stay on active duty. It’s strongly encouraged for them to take a medical discharge or retirement but there are a few of us “phfucking freaks” that have an indomitable spirt and a few screws loose that struggle to stay until full retirement at 20years.

So is he saying that freaks are physically unfit, or that the physically unfit are freaks? Do all 4 categories fall under freak or does freak fall under all 4 categories?
