Thankfully, since that time, we've gotten research from both TN and MS that indicated moving the season a couple of weeks had no effect on reproduction. I doubt that even our dcnr is gonna be bold enough to take credit for any perceived population increase when they know it will quickly be refuted by folks armed with research results.
Or maybe I'm wrong and they will try it. They will look bad if they do.
Well. DGT is officially dead. But there’s people in the industry willing to prop it up Weekend at Bernie’s style as long as they can. I just don’t understand it. I suppose it could be tied to funding future projects for certain individuals. But for the hunters that have been brainwashed by it - like a few on here - doesn’t make sense at all. Haven’t heard anything from the ol wild turkey doc in a while now, not that I’m complaining.
