Seems like most flashlights these days are made of aluminum.
Fenix makes excellent products.

I got these husky work lights from Home Depot they fit your criteria except they aren’t a flashlight. They are rechargeable, 3 brightness settings, 1500 lumens at brightest, fold, prop, and have a magnet to attach to metal. Oh and you can get two for 20$. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-2...TVmxpCStqUqp1fF3nV4OmUbKMkMaAhRqEALw_wcBWhy not just put under rail led’s that light up the bed with a switch in the bed? This is what I did on my truck and it works great.

Just me but I wouldn't go with rechargeable unless it has a replaceable battery. A dead light waiting on a charge really sucks!

Fenix makes excellent products.
X2 X3 on Fenix I used to have streamlight and sure fire for law enforcement use but only streamlight still works. Not impressed with Surefire rechargeable especially when I need to rely on them.

Fenix, Surefire, and Streamlight. Those 3 are the best IMO and will give You many years of service and excellent performance.

Just me but I wouldn't go with rechargeable unless it has a replaceable battery. A dead light waiting on a charge really sucks! I like my head lamps, i have a couple that are rechargeable plus they have the option for regular batteries, so i always carry some when i go in the woods in my Bag (or pocket if tracking)

If you are spending much more than $30 on a flashlight, you’re spending too much. There was a time when these premium manufacturers offered something that others didn’t. That’s not the case anymore. There are many Chinese brands that offer ridiculous lights that are great quality for cheap now. I have several sofirn lights that are top notch and a Wurkkos that is like a pocket sized spotlight. Very nice lights. Buy a sofirn sc31pro and then buy the magnetic end cap. You will be out about $33. These lights are very impressive. Sofirn SC31Pro

Looking for recommendations on a flashlight. Must be rechargeable and metal to magnatize to a mount in my truck or comes with a mount. Medium size to not be bulky and not easy to misplace. Object is for it to always be there and ready to go if needed. Budget is $200. Thanks in advance. Streamlight stinger.

2nd vote for Malkoff Devices. Alabama company and fantastic products. Talk to me, Brother. Been a Streamlight or Surefire guy for years. What's better about the Malkoff lights that justifies the price? As a self-proclaimed flashlight whore, I need to know.

Since I have a dozen 18v Ryobi batteries and a six bank charger plugged in at all times in both my trucks, I bought a twelve pack of refurbished flashlights for under a hundred dollars and them spread around my homes and vehicles. The small 2ha battery is what I keep in my backpack.

May have a winner here. Big fan of the cradle charger and with the most comments on Fenix, I don't think I can go wrong. Appreciate all the suggestions. I looked at them all.
