9 deer strolled by at 6:43. Currently watching 10 Turkey ease through the creek bottom. And, about 40 wood ducks swimming around.

Guest today. In a ladder on a plot with pintlala creek flowing 10 yards behind me. There is a fresh scrape at the base of this ladder. Heard 1 gobbler this morning and just had 19 turkeys stroll through. 4-5 little Jake’s and hens. Owner had a mounter get by him yesterday fairly close to where I am. We’ll see. I’m just glad to be here on this gorgeous morning.

Sitting on my back deck in FL watching food plot and feeder. See if my luck changes as my club hunting in AL was worst in over a decade hunting there.

I’ve seen eight. Three does. One buck that got by me. And four unidentified. All movement between 6:30 and 8.

Two young bucks and two little deer. I reckon all the older deer are off having an orgy somewhere. Every good buck i get pics of is cruising and getting skinny. The older does have vanished. If i see one, she usually has 3-4 little ones with her. No telling how many times ive seen the same 2yo 8pt. He showed up at our orchard a week or so ago limping. He limps around here in broad daylight now like he owns the place. Every time an older doe comes out, here he comes limping along and runs her off. He couldnt catch up with one to breed her.

Our deer in Randolph County pretty much done. Had a few bucks killed in plots and they were bad run down.

Saw 3 more does before I got a text from the shop and had to climb down and drive 40 miles to put one in the unemployment line. You can't have nothing.

Hunting some public land on the Tombigbee River in Greene County..I talked to a n old fellow in a kayak and he said he had just seen two does with a nice 8 point.
