A gun shop can sell to anyone that's not restricted by government. They are not forced to sell to anyone. So if a 12 year old walks in, they aren't forced to sell them anything.
If they sell to a 12 year old who commits a crime with it, then they are on the hook for liability.
I'm of the opinion, if you're old enough to shed blood for your country, you're old enough to buy booze and guns. Period.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

If 18 is the age your an adult, can vote and can go to war for this country then it should be the age for all things. If it’s not the age what is the age? 21? The all thingss need to be based on that age. Then stop letting 18 year olds go die for this country. My sone went to boot camp, done a tour in Afghanistan, came home and still couldn’t buy a pistol? Get out of here with that crap. Exactly the way I think it should be. They're either an adult or they're not.
