Sat on a cutover in lowndes this morning. Saw a small buck walking in and a doe walking out. With Mrs. Bamaeyedoc now in a quad pod on a hayfield in bullock. Her youngest son and grandson in a shooting house watching a plot on a powerline. Coming down to the wire….

The boy took out the gimped up buck this morning looked like he had broken his hip or had a deformity but his right rear leg is shorter and drawn up. He's happy it's the first buck he's killed in a couple years.

Dang it’s hot and only going to get hotter later in week. Sprayed down like I was bowhunting it’s so hot. Back on deck in FL waiting on them. My luck has to change at some point if I keep after them. At least I have 0 mph wind so not worried about it. Come on deer.

Drought over. Popped an antlerless and actually dropped her in her tracks. Haven’t hit that perfect sweet spot in awhile.
