Our basic Lyman press struggles to consistently seat bullets for my .325 and .300wsm, does anyone have a specific set up they use and have good results with for WSMs? My father is a 40 year well-versed reloader and he can't get them to seat any better than I can. Any advice would be appreciated.

My RCBS rockchucker never had a problem with 300WSM loads
Seems like I had to get a different shell holder but it’s been a while since I loaded those rounds

There are a few reasons you could be having issues with seating depth variance:
Seating die stem doesn't match bullet ogive.
Inconsistent neck tension
Compressed powder loads.
