I posted on this before, if you look up what percentage of them go past 200k, just do an online search it's around 4%. I find that hard to believe. These days, most any truck that is cared for and maintained as it should be will go 200k miles with the exception of some with known widespread issues.

I got 2 over 250k and one over 300k. All depends on the owner…. This is true of most trucks but you got to know your stuff or do lots of research. Since 2009 they've built in all kinds of hidden booby traps like turbo 4 and 6 cylinders, twin turbos, active fuel management and auto stop/start. Mostly due to Hussein Obama's attempt to ruin America through stupid EPA regulations. I've got 20 and 30 year old trucks in excess of 300k miles and equipment with several thousand hours because of proper maintenance. Unfortunately, since 2009 the proper maintenance isn't enough. If you don't know how to delete all the unnecessary stupid environmental garbage you'll be dumping thousands of dollars into it well before it's broke in good.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

I read an article about the toyota plant here displaying the 1 million mile tudra, so it is possible. but you never hear of them displaying the one that only made it 50k miles which is much more common.

That’s all tacomas, 2009 being the newest.. never been a fanboy of the Tundras I favor the 97’s

There's a number of things I consider in a half ton truck. Payload, tow rating, towing package (including external oil coolers and brake controls) cab size, bed size, wheel size, 6 lug wheels, and V8 gasoline engine WITHOUT turbo. All those requirements, between the Tundra and Titan XD, the Titan is the big winner.

My 02 Tundra has 400K on it. My 05 is getting close to 190K and due for a timing belt.
The first gen ones are easy. Change the oil, do a timing belt, water pump and tensioners every 90 to 100K miles, and they will last for a really long time.
I'd drive the 02 from here to California and not even think about it.

I've got an 03 Tundra 4x4 with 300,300 miles on it, runs like a new sewing machine.
and an 02 Camry with 250,000+ on it, runs like new.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I every day drive in rough country and it doesn’t matter what I drive its done by 100k, many before that. My Toyotas really don’t fair any better than other makers. I get 10k out of a set of tires
