I don't believe there's any way that's the same deer I always scratch my head when people are so certain they've got the same deer on camera. It seems like a crapshoot. Unless the rack is super distinctive.

He had a large scar on his right (away from us) side. we drove closer and he turned, showing the scar!!!! he had a peculiar way of holding his head, easily noticeable IF you looked. Matt is correct.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I can tell you about the time they will come out and how many will show up. Most of the bucks on my property that make it through the season I will follow them all through the spring to summer from the time of the antler drop till they start growing their new horns. Seeing them every day almost year round you can definitely keep up with bucks from year to year

Seeing them every day almost year round you can definitely keep up with bucks from year to year I’ve been able to successfully track individual bucks from 1 year old until well into maturity. It depends on the deer, their unique characteristics, behaviors, home range and habits. I’ve got a few individual does I’ve been able to do this with too.
