It’s been many years since I’ve purchased traps. I just looked on outdooralabama.com and the trap specs say nothing about offset or laminated jaws. Am I misremembering or did these requirements used to exist?

The only restriction is trap size on land. A laminated mb650 is as big as you can legally go. Most people just use 550 series. Doesn't have to be offset but most traps are. I do run some duke number 2 square jaws that aren't offset
