I got to get me a pole and extra transducer. When it’s windy spot lock takes priority over scope for me… nice catch! That fishing specialties mount is as good as they come and are without a doubt the easiest to stow and deploy.

That is a black nosed crappie. Magnolia crappie were the name given to some triploid (sterile) crappie that the state of MS messed around with The hybrids?

Never knew they were called Magnolias, I just call them race stripe crappie. I usually catch one or 2 per year. Got 3 last year.

Black nose crappie are not hybrids. The Magnolia crappie was a triploid (sterile like triploid grass carp). The hybrids reproduce still, just at a lower rate
