That’s true. And a Belgian or Japanese A5 20 gauge in very good condition will too.
I have a near perfect Jap light 20 but am still looking for a sweet sixteen in excellent shape.

If I paid $2,000 for a sweet 16 , it better look like it just came out of the box and had never been fired.

I picked up a beautiful 1969 Belgium Sweet 16 a few years ago. Looked almost flawless and is the best shooting gun I’ve ever fired. I swallowed hard and ponied up $1700 and don’t regret it one bit.

If deal is finalized it might be for sale. Guy is out of state so I would have to get it here….. I haven’t personally seen it but looks to be 9/10 condition He may have more than it’s worth in it. He supposed to keep me posted.

Just from the 3 pics, it appears to be in excellent condition. Some people don't like fooling with adjusting or setting up the recoil spring and friction rings under the forearm, but once set up correctly, most A5s are really great shooters as I'm sure you know. My 1964 A5 was very easy to set up and get running well. Mine had the friction rings turned backwards about 45 years ago and put in a safe . . . probably with the thought that it won't cycle right.
