Somebody dumped a fresh killed 70LB spike right by one of our gates during Thanksgiving. Doesn’t make sense.

I have a camera there now. Caught a guy dumping a big husky a couple of weeks ago, got his tag #. A BUNCH of people walked over to the lock to see if it was locked I guess. Camera 15’ high can see in everybody’s truck bed.

We all must hunt the same nieghborhood or there is trash all over Alabama. We were selective and only killed one buck on 800 acres but had 3 dumped at one gate. A little doe, a button, and a very small buck.

I own property on a creek where I'm building a house. You can see the bridge upstream from my house where the local road crosses. The morning we got snow up here, some low life pulled to the guardrail and attempted to dump their burn barrel over the side and into the creek. Luckily it got away from them and fell into the road. They couldn't lift it back into their truck so they left it laying right there on the bridge.......which is better than it being in the creek. I notified the county and they came and got it.
The true mark of a man is not how he conducts himself during times of prosperity, but how he conducts himself during times of adversity.

I’ve said it before: Alabama has a pervasive culture that appears to revel in litter. You just don’t see it other places including most of MS or GA. It’s hard to quantify but in some places I’d say close to 50 percent of the population litters with abandon. Doesn’t matter if it’s in the middle of nowhere woods, highways and city/town streets, on the beach, on the water. Trash litters and there’s trash almost everywhere you go in much of this state. Sometimes it’s corn bags. All the time it’s beer cans, swishersweet wrappers, Faygo bottles, styrofoam drink cups and takeout boxes, used tires, old recliners, fuggin diapers and used condoms in parking lots. It goes on and on. On my way into camp, recently, someone dumped a boat in the access road of a property. It’s a walkthrough runabout snatched off the trailer and left right there. Someone made that choice rather than pull it to the free landfill 7 miles away.

I worked with the US Forest Service for 32.5 yrs and the land that we managed was also used as a dumping grown, no matter what state I was in....it's pretty sad, but people just don't care....as long as they can get it away from their house.....large appliances were dumped on a regular basis down many dirt roads....
