Lord blessed us and we Hunted a good bit and had a great time.

I Never pulled the trigger on a deer.

My son missed a good one.

We got to celebrate Buddies son shot his best.

Lots of laughs, good food, mentoring young men and fellowship with new and old friends

A++ every season I’m able to enjoy Gods creation is a good one. I started out in October/November missing the biggest deer I had ever seen while hunting, on a public land DIY trip.

January 29th killed my best buck to date on public land in Alabama. Absolutely the coolest thing I’ve ever done.

I don't know how many hunts between the 3 of us? (60 +) I'm sure. Deer were seen on every hunt except last Tuesday PM. There were some stray dogs running around and I believe that was the issue. All and all a good year. Going to get started on some habitat changes as soon as it dries up a little and start preparing for next year.

Sounds like an awesome season! 8 bucks! How many acres you hunting?

He owns a corner lot in a subdivision that borders a 3000 acre huntingclub.grin

Why didn't you stop? I could have used some help spreading that stuff out a little. And, it's a 2800 hunting club on 3 sides and a city park on the other. I live and hunt in the land of the 2 yr olds. The 1st deer I killed this year was estimated at 6+ yrs old. I don't know how he got by us for 4+ yrs. We're going to have to do better.

I think I went 6 times all year. Saw one deer. If the weather was nice, I was at work. If I was off work, it was raining or had something else I needed to do. Hate to keep paying dues and never going, but also hate to not have a place to go if I want.

I would give this season an A. I went 4 times and saw deer on every sit. I shot a doe in early Dec., then an 8 point and a messed up 7 point in Jan.

A+. My 6yr old killed his 2 biggest bucks (wide 8 and tall 8) to date and my 10 yr old killed a nice old mature 8pt that was on the hit list and she let a lot of good bucks walk. I'm proud of how much they grew as hunters and managers this year. They also introduced 2 of their friends to hunting and both killed their 1st deer. I didn't pull the trigger this year in AL, but I did harvest a really nice 6x7 muley in SD.

A+
My son killed his first deer. Basket 8. and my wife killed her first one in probably ten years. 240 yards. Decent 8 point.
I never pulled the trigger. Only hunted twice without them. Everytime I leave the house the little one thinks he needs to go.

My phone screen does not always work right, usually a lot of misspelled words....
