I spent a good bit of my life on extended cruises, so I was always against going on one for fun. The wife finally talked me into it one year, and she figured out her opinion was the same as mine. We won’t go on another, but there are a lot of people that like cruises, so don’t take my word for it.

Alaska. I've been on a Caribbean and an Alaska and the Alaska wins hands down unless you like looking at water and sitting in the sun. On the Alaska cruise there was almost always some scenery to see and in the times there wasn't you sit on deck and watch for whales. Plus, the excursions are more to an Aldeerer's liking. was trying to figure out how to say it without saying it ^^. spot on.

Alaska is built for a cruise. Only way to see some of it easily!

We have been on several. Never had a bad time. I prefer Norwegian or royal Caribbean. I would say avoid leaving from cruise terminals in very democratic areas, New Orleans for instance.

Alaska! I thought I would not like them but went on a couple this year. Alaska and Carribean. Enjoyed the Caribbean while Bama was snowed in but the Alaska cruise was really fun. Second Alaska..........don't like crowds either. Use the ship as a hotel, you unpack, sleep, eat, shower and get off every am to go on an excursion. Best way to see the coastal side of Canada and lower Alaska. I'd do a cruise again, but we're wanting to to an interior land tour to see the mainland and fish.

Take her on a cruise ............. a rail cruise across Alaska. We did one back in '17 and we both loved it. I told my wife we were going to AK , she said finally a cruise , I told her I wasn't going to AK to see ice bergs and whales. We flew into Fairbanks and worked our way back to Anchorage via rail , spent 8 days up there. We still went to Portage Glacier and saw whales in the bay south of Anchorage . If you go to AK via a boat and don't spend at minimum a week inside the state , you ain't seen AK , you just been there. The tour we did was through Princess Cruise Lines, they have their own glass top rail cars on the Alaskan RR train.

We did the 4day out of mobile years ago, it was our 1st, we went with another couple, enjoyed the experience but just wasn’t our cup of tea. If we do another it will be Alaska. If y’all never been go and then decide don’t let Aldeer make your decision. My take on a cruise, see a little of a few places versus a staycation is a lot of 1 place, we would rather do the latter Same here on the cruise out of Mobile. It's not really my thing either, but there will be some stuff you enjoy about it... so don't let the detractors here keep you from going. It's probably one of those things that you'll end up saying "I'm glad I experienced it whether or not I want to return".

Been on two and going on another in May,the first was on our honeymoon and it was ok but not real fun with just the two of us,we went two years ago on my daughters senior cruise and had more fun than the kids did because there were a bunch of our friends on it so we had a great time, this next one will be a big family cruise with my wife’s family,in-laws,aunts and uncles and cousins,it should be fun because they like to cut up and have a good time,We always go on Royal Caribbean and it’s great, the food is good, unlimited drinks with the drink package, and the shows are fun, there’s hasn’t been any riff raff on the ones I’ve been on

Nope never. Too many damn people in one place that can’t go anywhere else. Plus, if I can’t drive my truck and take some pistols, I ain’t going. Sage advice to live by!

Do a European river cruise and hit several countries. Just an opinion not based on experience Cruise the Tn/Tom waterway.
