Wife wants to go on a cruise for her 50th bday in June. Never been on one. Ideas?

Nope never. Too many damn people in one place that can’t go anywhere else. Plus, if I can’t drive my truck and take some pistols, I ain’t going.

Alaska! I thought I would not like them but went on a couple this year. Alaska and Carribean. Enjoyed the Caribbean while Bama was snowed in but the Alaska cruise was really fun.

Ain't NO WAY! NOPE! NADA! HELL NO! This ol boy ain't never stepping foot on them floating public cesspools. Take her to Montana in March or April. Visit Yellowstone or Glacier NP. Stay in a mountain cabin. Spend whatever it cost, because whatever it cost is worth avoiding a damn crowded boat.

My best friend just spent a week at a resort in Cosumel, i think. He really enjoyed it. If youre just not the cruise type, you might talk her into a resort. Dont have to be mexico, theres resorts all over the place.

I’ve never been on one due to dislike of the idea. But people I know that have enjoyed them have gone on the more expensive ones. Weeds out the riff raf. If I were to do it, based on what I’ve heard from others, I’d go on the most expensive one I could afford for the sole purpose of avoiding a crappy experience.

So you could do what she wants and take her on a cruise, or do what the Aldeer guys want, 😂. if she really wants to go and you can, I’d take her. I haven’t been on in 25 years and honestly enjoyed the 3 or 4 we went on. I will, good Lord willing, go on one more and it will be an Alaskan.

My wife knows better than to ask me. I’ll gladly send her with her girlfriends on one again though

My wife and a friend went on one in December. She said it was ok but probably wouldn’t do it again.

Buy a boat and take her out on it.

Alaska. I've been on a Caribbean and an Alaska and the Alaska wins hands down unless you like looking at water and sitting in the sun. On the Alaska cruise there was almost always some scenery to see and in the times there wasn't you sit on deck and watch for whales. Plus, the excursions are more to an Aldeerer's liking.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

We did the 4day out of mobile years ago, it was our 1st, we went with another couple, enjoyed the experience but just wasn’t our cup of tea. If we do another it will be Alaska. If y’all never been go and then decide don’t let Aldeer make your decision. My take on a cruise, see a little of a few places versus a staycation is a lot of 1 place, we would rather do the latter

cruises are great. you will enjoy yourself trust me. I took mine on a cruise for her 50th and before the trip was over we booked another for this june. cruise on royal Caribbean they have been the nicest of the 4 cruise lines we have been on. we cruise out of Port Canaveral there seems to more options on cruises and cruise lines from that Port.
