Still out and ain’t looking good for today

Just spent the day cutting and hauling trees on our road.

Thankfully, every tree missed the power lines and thankfully, I had a couple of neighbors helping as well. Many of them just sat in their houses - I guess they were assuming the tree fairy was going to wave his magic wand and everything would just disappear. I know I should be thankful that I have the tools and the ability to do it, but I can't help but be frustrated about it.

I dread waking up in the morning - I can already feel it in my shoulders and back.

Came back on here about hour and half ago

We’re still waiting in the dark. Hopefully not much longer they’re checking up and down the street.
Decatur utilities has been here too.

Reported as an EF 1 tornado that hit us.

Black Warrior had ours back on in less then two hours.
My line was broken in 3 places from fallen trees.
I was hoping they’d wait til til this evening to fix it, because I was fixing to do some logging.
There’s still about a dozen dead or dying pines along the line.
Pine decline is hammering these old growth pines, especially the short leaf.

Looks like late tomorrow or Tuesday for us. Somebody told the wife that, at one time, 60% of the meters in Coosa county were dead. An APCO guy told us this morning there were over 500 problem spots they already knew about in Coosa county.

Power at our lowndes camp is out. Supposed to be on tonight. Got a little deer meat in the freezer. Hope it’ll be ok.

I guess my Generac is just going to kick on if and whenever.
