I've probably used FB Marketplace for the last time!! I immediately had several obvious scam replies and since I placed that ad, I get about 10 spam calls a day!! Aldeer classified has been a much better option for me.

Nope, I think it was required in order place the add. I really don't remember. It wasn't in the add though, I'm very protective of my cell number.
I have sold literally HUNDREDS of things on Facebook Marketplace and I've NEVER had to enter my phone number.
