I’ve built one several years ago. Haven’t done any load development with it yet but have experience loading others. I have a barrel in route as we speak.

Got a Model Seven that N2TRKY’s has loaded some test rounds for. Still need to try it out.

I shoot 7 SAUM. Look at the Nosler data and shoot a 160 Accubond or a 168.
Other than that.... if you are looking for quality advice stay off this forum. You won't find it here.

A 140 or 150 is just not enough. LOL !!!! Not in an Accubond. It would be in a regular ole soft point. That’s what he posted the other day. Don’t need them fancy expensive bullets to kill a deer. I remember when he posted it.

Both the 160 and 168 Accubond are pretty consistent for most people shooting this Cartridge and gives good accuracy for whatever reason I can't explain. Seems like these 2 bullet options shoot well in nearly everyone's rifles just under 3,000FPS. It's a good place to start.
So, like I said the last 2 comments on this thread are exactly why this is a terrible place to ask questions.
If you post this on Accurate Shooter I'll be happy to answer and you'll get good advice on this setup. A lot of us shoot this or at least have in the past.
You'll find some advice here on Aldeer... but it will be a bunch of stupid crap. 100% of the time.
If you are getting butthurt because I said go somewhere else maybe so some soul searching, I don't know. But so far nobody gave him anything. I did. And then you get these 2 last posts. Case in point. If you want this forum to continue to be a bunch of non-sense and garbage about Barnes Bullets, Tikka Rifles and .243's then carry on. But don't get offended.

So you’ll post good advice on another forum but not this one? Makes sense. When I built mine reloading component prices went way up and I realized I can get by deer hunting with smaller calibers such as .223, 6.5 Grendel and 300 BLK which I’ve used since. Bullets matter more than headstands and shot placement is everything.

If you need a bonded bullet to shoot and kill a Whitetail something is wrong with you IMO.
You can’t make up your mind can you? Since you despise ALDeer, maybe you should just leave. . .NOBODY will miss your petulant attitude or useless pontification.

Case in point is downplaying the two all time most popular weight bullets in 7mm.... mmmkay. ... and then saying the 160 and 168 grain is the standard... that's solid advice ? I'm not saying they won't shoot, but not the norm for dang sure.

John Wooters gunwriter of my youth used a 160 partition@3000 fps out of his 7 mag. True John's was Remingtons big 7 but Wooters has killed more deer than most have seen. I'd start with Nosler data and call it good.
Skinny is my EX.Alcohol was involved.
