The Constitution provides for a postal service. So there will be one, unfortunately. It doesn't say it has to be what it is currently. There's no way a government run operation can deliver packages, etc. to match a private for-profit. The constitution ALLOWS for a postal service. It does not in any way guarantee or protect one.
