Get on youtube and watch the cabinet members . Theres new interviews and speeches on there about every day. I cant help but believe this is the closest to the truth were gona get. Straight from the horses mouth. Theres alot of it on there and more new every day.
Kodiak, i dont mean to come across disrespectful to you. I just know what youre saying and what the presidents people are saying sounds different. No disrespect on my end either but there's absolutely no way they researched the total number of government jobs, came to a consensus on which jobs were critical or a waste and, or created a plan to ensure agencies ran at full throttle and not on bare bones. I'm also going with the knowledge that one specific NF in Washington state had deleted more than 20 positions this past fall only to now lose individuals that had been employed in the 5-10yr range. To bash California for poor fire precautions and then eliminate so many workers in the PNW is just dumb when there has been ZERO justification on how those positions were chosen. That infos not on youtube nor has the feds released such info OR it's hiding and I can't find it lol

The surgery is so large, that it can't be done with a scalpel. Sorry. File suite. People got axed for not fitting in with the woke crowd. I have zero #$@& to give. This, 100%.

Jwalker in regards to your inquiry of do I watch MSNBC regularly I would say no. I exist in a world of being up typically 20 out of 24 hours a day. So I try to understand and objectively look at numerous news / info sources across the spectrum. I have worked as a former senior scientist in the private sector and government sector. Agree with Skinny about doctor to position inbreeding and agree with Matt Brock about professionals being cast aside. Time will tell. We are all in this together. All i would ask is that you atleast listen to the actual people handling all this stuff Trumps cabinet is doing, not just the news media on either side. They are all blatantly biased. We are in a time in history when we dont have to depend on them for reality. The truth is available. I cant change your opinion, i wont even try. But i believe in whats going on and i believe in the end we will see it was for the best. There will be casualties, there always is. But there will also be great opportunities. I believe it will all work out in the end.

If your hypothetical scenario is factual and those positions needed, they will be refilled. Not giving reasons/explanations could be a reason DEMS win the next election. Transparency with study based evidence would silence the left and not fuel them. This mess is pissing off people on both sides, including a lot of vets. Not saying vets are more important than anyone else but, it's a lot of votes in 4yrs. if the dick the health care up for those that rely on it. BTW, My "scenario" isn't hypothetical... You made my point though with your last sentence...

We all gripe and complain about government waste. And there's not a soul here that can put up a legitimate argument that it doesn't exist and that it isn't extreme. Yet, now that someone is trying to do something about it, half of Aldeer knows better than the people that have access to the facts and have studied it for several months. 🤔 We all know there's GOV waste but there's absolutely NOTHING out there showing they've studied anything factual. They've had to recall nuclear workers after letting them go, they studied really hard lol

If you wife brought home a box of pine cones, and you had a charge of $25,000 on your credit card for a box of pine cones, would you needs to "study" it or just stop payment and return it?

Question. Do most people not think that as soon as the new administration takes over in 2028 that all of this will be reversed and put right back to where it was before. It was changed with a pen stroke and I feel it will be reversed the same way. At this point in history it’s just going to be back and forth with no real progress made. Hopefully, a Democrat won't get in next election. But who the hell knows by then.
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

If Trump stays the course and keeps doing what he's doing we , in my opinion. will be in a recession (correction) for the next couple years before seeing the most prosperous time of our life. Not to mention we will have the most efficient, lean government that we've seen in decades. He's going to have to tune out those on our side that just want things to slow down and wait for more studies, which is how we got to this point. I pray he continues tearing it all to pieces because for the first time since Reagan I feel like my government is actually acting responsiblly. If he is allowed to continue he could finish off what's left of democrats and establishment Republicans and we could see years of Republican rule going forward.

Im not saying totrust anybody. Im saying listen to what the actual people are saying instead of what a known liar is saying about them. If theyre not telling the truth, itll be found out quick. At that time they need to be confronted about it. But if tgeyre doing what they promise, thatll also be seen. I like whats going on so far.

I'm talking about JOBS not funds, this is obvious by 99% of the posts in this thread. With that said, there's no way that in 2-3 weeks anything was researched using analytical data AND common sense.
