Don’t park there if you’re not getting a to go order. Longhorn in Prattville has plenty of ding dongs doing this. If this were my restaurant, they wouldn’t be seated until their vehicle is moved. Dang.

There should be only one to-go order spot. Otherwise, the restaurant is not doing their job correctly.

Place is busy. Looks like any ant hill that’s been kicked. Not one car has left in 20 minutes.

Bad restaurant.

It is busy as hell there. We went yesterday at 1545 and it was a 15 minute wait.

I park in those spots every damn time and I ain’t gonna stop. Pisses my wife off. This bulllshit started with Covid. Grocery stores, Home Depot, restaurants, pharmacies etc etc. my money is just as good. I dare a sumbitch to say something.

I gave a guy a look. Guy taking up two spots and in the phone smoking a cig. People are getting worse.

It’s ridiculous. People in general can’t park anyhow. Then you have 25 handicap spots and a dozen of these damn spots. When I shop, I know what I want. All I want to do is go inside, make my purchase and leave. These spots are vacant most of the time. They are a waste.

Back in 1992 while in college, I was a swing shift driver, chef, supervisor at an old school Pizza Hut. It would get slammed busy on a Friday with full restaurant, carry-out, and delivery drivers hustling. We made bank, and kept only one spot for Carry-Out customers. Drivers were in the back lot, the front lot had in house customers only. Ran like a top.

And your assumption is wrong. Never have and never will.

Many restaurants expanded their take-out biz bigly during covid and found a new revenue stream. Has nothing to do with how they run their sit down business. For instance; we get take out from Texas Roadhouse (pretty good steak at a fair price) frequently and the restaurant has a line outside. They have at least 6-8 take out spots in back. Pull up; they bring your food out at the time the app says it will be ready. Great system.

That’s different. Last night and today I dealt with the same thing. Longhorn has 5 spots. My fuse was short last year and I said if I make it through December, it’ll be better next year. Jeez.

So what’s next, special spots for people that are only buying 10 items or less at the grocery store? How about after that we have spots strictly for people going through self checkout? I’m fine with a reasonable amount of handicap spots, veterans parking spots, and we could even throw in some elderly parking spots. But special spots for a regular everyday person that wants someone else to do their grocery shopping for them, I don’t agree with that.
