Looking for nice(r) hen or strutter decoys, but open to jakes or whatever you got.
Not looking for cheap inflatables or silhouettes.

The stutter can actually scare gobs off - jake more than likely to get a result! I have had a strutter scare a hot gob off and never used it again

Avian x and dave smith decoys make a good decoy!

a single hen decoy can be very effective

The best setup is being able to kill him when you see him

And if he asking about em - i am going to tell him statistically what works best. A decoy may not always work and i could give a crap what he or you uses cause i am not a nut job 🤣🤣

I have had the exact same thing happen many times in south Alabama and Northwest, Fl. I finally gave up on the strutter and only use a hen/jake combination in this region. The strutter actually works really well in Tennessee and Kentucky. Go figure!!

I have a turkey decoy that belonged to my uncle. He playa huge role in getting me in the outdoors. He passed away 2 years ago and I got some of his hunting stuff. I’d live to kill a turkey with it

Some of the coolest things i hav ever seen was when i had an avain x laydown hen and a real stuffed jake standing over her - they will come in and hang for a while at 19-20 yards or where ever your set up is and they may try to take your jakes head off. My jake is a real fag - no beard - not much red in head but enough to piss a gob off - aint used it much last few years but i hav seen some cool stuff with Pat my jake
