Anyone have a tractor with a front bucket that can pull a lime buggy and lime green fields? Located in Coosa County near Hanover. We have 14 fields from half ac. to just over one ac. No real big fields. Area is a little hilly, as is much of Coosa County.
If interested, please send me a PM. We would like to do it as soon as turkey season is over.

So I’m straight up asking here, and asking only. The way I understand it your wanting a guy to take FEL and load ang dumped lime into the buggy, then take same tractor and go pull buggy and spread lime on fields. Roughly 10 +/- acres worth. And you’re gonna hire him to do this? What would something like this cost on average? Thanks

With that level of inefficiency ? A lot. Would likely be the same cost as running two tractors, one to load and one to spread.

"Cull" is just another four letter word...

I’ve only done this with two tractors. It’s a pain with only one and will likely cost more than hiring two tractors. Agreed.

We would rent a buggy along with buying the lime. Two tractors would certainly be better than on, one to load the lime and one to pull the buggy. We have done in the past with only one tractor. It really depends on cost.

Received. I have sent him a text. I'll let you know what he says. One unrelated question: It came across the Facebook page of one of the local VFD's that a hunting club on Diamond Mountain had a fire last night. It burned their Kitchen house down, but they only had slight damage to the main club house. I was wondering if this was y'all or Diamond Mountain or a third group. I no longer know any of the Diamond Mountain folks to ask.
