Saw that too, but I guess that could be good or bad. It depends on what was killed where. It’s all site specific I believe. The state(s) still depends upon us to make the final call, somewhat. You want/need to hunt til February? Here ya go. Need to kill more does in this area? Here ya go. Just like several have stated on here, managing wildlife is easy. Managing people (to not be greedy and do the right thing in specific areas) is extremely difficult.



Considering natural mortality is higher in bucks it simply skews the herd numbers.
