In a 410 you get what will throw a killer pattern , most won't . Those little 301s and a few others are the only ones that will make the grade.



You can buy .410 turkey chokes just like everything else. The critical part is the load. .410 is persnickety and factory shells aren't as consistent as needed to be sure of performance.


I've seen some that won't shoot regardless of choke. I do agree , 410s are not forgiving when it comes to shells. I have a great combo in my 301 with factory choke , polished bore and some highly tested hand loads. The only person I know that has thrown more TSS at paper than me, is the man who developed the load.
