I actually met Gene Hackman a couple times he was into racing and met him at a couple of races. Seemed pretty normal to me. I guess when he was coming up folks involved in Broadway plays were not all freak shows. He was a supporting actor in a lot of his films he's known for which is why he didn't win more awards the movies would not have been as good without him.
His 2 most underrated lead roles were probably Hoosiers and Bat 21.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

The article says there was no sign of cause of death
I’m guessing carbon monoxide poisoning or something similar That’s what I’m thinking
