Am I still crazy for wanting Z to step aside and letting a diplomat take over now that peace is near? Putin is an evil man. Anyone that disagrees with that is the one that needs to have their heads examined. I want them to come out of this looking like the loser, but more than anything, I want the killing stopped. I am a pragmatic person so I think that Russia will end up with some of the territory it invaded, but not the whole country like Putin wants.
Again, I don't view this as the U.S. needs to be all in for either side. I don't think Trump does either. I think he has said as much as that. That is how you bring about peace.
I think Z was what Ukraine needed at the start but he has shot his wad. Great leader at the start but failing miserably as a diplomat to end this. He needs to go. As much as I don't like saying this, if he is not willing to give concessions, then it is time for us to walk away. That will lead to just many more lives lost over there. This has to end or we will be looking at WWIII.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Yep, nobody is willing to go that far back in history to understand the dynamics of what has actually happened over there. They just want to point to evil Russia invading. It's not just the last few years how we've gotten here...and Obama and Biden are the root cause of most of the mess as it stands today. I just don't understand what "I stand with Ukraine" means when you are an American, makes zero sense. So that means you are OK with us just continuing to send billions of US tax dollars over there just for there to be a stalemate and millions die OR even worse, you think it's a worthy enough cause that we should send our troops over there and let them start getting killed as well. Those are the options if you "stand with Ukraine". I personally stand with the US and don't give a chit about Ukraine. I go back longer than Obama and Biden to the days of the old Soviet Empire that Putin says he wants to bring back. Ukraine is a vital first step in this quest. That is why he needs to be stopped in his tracks. Speaking of Biden, do you see the timing of his invading Ukraine while we has the weakest, most inept president in my lifetime (and remember I'm old) as just a coincident? No Putin did this when he would have the best chance of achieving his goal. I don't mind helping Ukraine as long as the bulk of the help monetarily comes from Europe since they are at the greater risk. I think our help should largely come in the form of advanced weaponry. But more than anything right now, I want Ukraine back at the table to sign the Rare Earth Metals agreement so we can start recouping some of the money we spent over there. This also gets Russia back at the table to negotiate peace. Like I said in the above post, I respected Z when the war first started but now he is just an obstacle to peace. The U.S. is currently $36,550,060,906,625 (and rising rapidly)in debt. We might should look inward before looking outward. Putin and Ukraine can both piss off

Nobody wants to know the truth. Putin gave a 1hr history lesson about everything leading up to him invading ukraine. Its all historical facts. Bidun sent his proxy to sign ukraine up with nato and Putin inveded the next day. He did exactly what he said he would do and told exactly why he did it. There will be no end to the war as long as zelenski keeps talking about joining nato. Putin might be a piece of crap liar, but he told the truth about that. And we should hold our own govt accountable for telling the truth before we start running others down about it. The US has been as immoral and corrupt as any other group of people on earth for decades. Weve been responsible for more tragedy and death than anyone else on earth. That needs to be fixed. There will be a price to pay for our dirty deeds.

Zelensky suspended elections to keep from being voted out. He is a money hungry dictator and the quicker his people kill him the quicker they can come to a peaceful resolution.

I've never been "All about Zelensky (sic)" as you say. I've been vocal about being anti-Putin more than anything while at the same time pro the Ukranian people. I thought Z did an amazing job rallying his people when this started and has failed miserably as a leader seeking a resolution. This belief only grows with each new news cycle.
