Basically without ammo being subsonic is there certain loads that are best used with suppressors, especially on SBRs? SBRs won’t burn all the powder in regular loads so as wondering if that is a thing or not. Or does it even matter. I keep seeing back pressure and running dirty issues. Maybe even a cleaner burning powder for use with cans.
Just curious

I was hoping for 223/5.56 but that may not play well so I’m all ears. Heck I’ve been looking at Noveskes and other higher end ARs
I’m interested. I’m trying to learn the nuances of suppressors etc….

Buy an upper using a piston system instead of DI, or do a conversion, and "dirty" isn't nearly as much of an issue.
I have 3 AR's that use pistons...love 'em.

Hint run a 12.5 inch instead of 8. Give your can a chance to work like designed.
Skinny is my EX.Alcohol was involved.

Thanks guys I’m still exploring but have included the 300 blackout as an option

If you want what works my advice is don't try to re-invent the wheel. Just go with what is commonly used and you'll have the most options and data.
300 BLK works and will check all your boxes sub-sonic and super sonic.
Same concept as telling someone who doesn't re-load to purchase a rifle in a wildcat cartridge. 300 BLK is like getting the rifle in 30-06 under this scenario. You just feed it the right ammo and it does what it's supposed to do.
It's a great place to start and the relatively inexpensive option as most make 300 BLK uppers. This caliber is everywhere.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

Thanks and spot on. I’m trying to avoid the 300bo for no good reason.
