This will likely still be in Court when I retire in 4 years. I'm mixed on this one only because I worry about how our State will budget and run Education without Federal funds. Schools will still get federal funding. Indeed, if they eliminate the DOE they can send the states even more money. If it comes without all the strings attached, it could even be helpful. Education was always supposed to be a function of the states. Eliminating the DOE would be a great first step in returning it to the way it's supposed to be.
All the labor of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.
