2 old cemeteries just outside the town of Gainesville ala are very cool. One is called Old Fellows I think. The one on the other side of town I can’t recall the name but it has a bunch of civil war graves and there use to be a cannon there supposedly gotten out of the tombigbee river nearby. Not sure on the hx of the cannon but it’s a cool story anyway. Not sure if the cannon is still there or not it’s been years prob 10 years since I last went to it. Reckon that may be Odd Fellows? There used to be a fraternal order by that name. At one time was one of the largest in the world, haven't heard of them in years though. I remember being in Worchester, MA and just walking around the town exploring. I came upon this old gothic style building that looked like something out of the Munsters or the Adams Family. It was boarded up and some of the windows were broke. It was dark, cloudy, and the building was painted various shades of gray and black. I remember thinking "If this ain't a haunted house, it missed a golden opportunity..." I get around to the front of the place and above the main arched opening in the wrap around porch was a large marquee that read "The Odd Fellows Home." Of course I stood there for a minute contemplating it, "What an odd thing." I had never heard of The Odd Fellows and figured it had to be some kind of fraternity. Found it! ![[Linked Image]](https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/5228e36de4b041a33a9f16eb/1408641425912-VWYIU5AIWJ824W6Z3TW9/Odd+Fellows+02.JPG)
