The main thing I do not want to do is to dress in a way that would be a distraction to someone else and keep them from being able to concentrate on the service. I certainly don’t want a dress code to keep someone from coming to Church and hearing the Word especially for someone who doesn’t know Jesus and I believe that God put them there. Personally I typically wear a jacket and tie to the Sunday morning service, business casual to other services. That’s the way I normally dress for business meetings and work and for me to dress down for Church might distract or have someone question my respect for the Church and cause them to stumble. If someone is being disrespectful by the way they dress, thats for God to deal with and He will appropriately.
