Our massage therapist gave me a gift basket of Cannabis goodies at my retirement party. She's a peach and I love her. Her and her husband are in our best friends group we we do stuff with them all the time.

Well about 30 minutes after finishing our "cocktails" we were like trippin' balls. I had to get up and go pee and wasn't entirely sure I could make it to the boy's room. I got back and Mrs. Irish was like, "I gotta' go too." I said, "Be careful when you stand up." We were both very high for a few hours and had the munchies pretty bad. Needless to say dinner was prepared very carefully. We finally ate and came down and I was glad to be back on Earth again.

Here's the thing about consumables versus taking a toke. When you take a toke you get a little buzz and if you want more, you can take another toke later. With consumables, the dosages and strength of any of them is debatable, so once you drink it or eat it, and you start to get high and feel the effects, you really have no idea how far this high is going to go before you start to taper off.

I have done my fair share of psychedelic drugs in my miss spent youth, (I know you guys can't believe that.) and I'm telling you the weed now a days can come very close to taking acid back in the day. It can be very potent.

I understand that fully, however, what you inferred what not what I intended to imply in my story. It was actually meant to be mildly humorous and interesting to those who don't imbibe. I have smoked "today's weed" recently. I rode my motorcycle to Colorado and Arizona last summer. And yes, in multiple testings in the name of science and recreation, the weed you buy out there legally is astonishingly potent compared to back when I was a teenager in Alabama.

“Back in the day” strong was 10ish% (although we were only able to get the “ditch” variety in college, chocked full of seeds and stems!) and I’ve seen some flower at 35%, today, let alone dab, resins and whatever else concentrates are available.

Yup and today’s smoke is way more potent. One hitters instead of a joint now in the norm. I have friends that travel and find new stuff. It’s crazy how nuanced it has become depending on outcome desired so they say.

Drink it....eat it.... ....smoke it ... I quit it about 30 years ago .... a lot of people are anticipating it's legalization for recreational here and around the country by the feds , why else smoke it so freely driving up and down the roads and smelling like a fresh burned joint.

I can't go anywhere in Mobile without the smell of smoked pot flowing through the air and into my nostrils while driving down the road... grocery store, gas stations, where ever...I can smell the raw unsmoked when I go into the grocer mostly.. police it and just make sure it doesn't get into the hands and lungs of our youth.... other than that let people be free....

In a time where the ATF has their fists up everybodys arse hustling us about our gun rights no need in adding pot to their chance to create their own policy controlling pot too.
