Thomas Massie is a conservative Republican. Trump is an ex-liberal Democrat. Facts. Massie is the ONLY ONE that consistently votes against the spending insanity. Wish we had more principled representatives like him.

I think Maddie should cave this one time and then tighten up. He could derail all the good Trump is doing

that sounds like a good way to get primaried right out of your current job. So, let me get this straight. Massie is fighting all the over spending. Has a history of doing so. Trump, during his first term, spent like a democrat. Like a democrat he was until he decided to run as a republican. Then Trump creates DOGE to get rid of the excess spending. The same spending Massie has been and is still voting against. Now Trump wants to primary Massie for wanting to cut waste and over spending? Did I get that right? And you just blindly support that? I get that right too? Because if I got those two things right, then you're no different that a democrat. Same shit, different party. I'd like to say that's un-fuggin-believable. But I know it's not to most people that lean libertarian. We know big spending is ok when a Republican does it, but not a Democrat. When a democrat president is in office, it's the opposite. And we wonder why we are where we are. Dumbassery at it's finest.

So, government shutdown is a good thing when Democrats are in power. But not when Republicans are in power? Got it.
I see government shut down as as good thing. The longer they are shut down, the more we save and the more obvious it is which components are necessary and which are not. I see shutdown as a victory regardless of who's in power.
But the "it's good when my guy is in power" attitude is one of the biggest issues in our government. Some of us see it as good or bad and don't give a damn who it makes look bad. That's how right and wrong works. But we gotta introduce gray areas and be hypocrites about it, because...politics.
Fug that.

No JFK files l, no Eipstein files, same old CRs. But Massie is the problem? The problem is we don't have more like Thomas Massie. I'm not a sleeple and bound by a party, so maybe that's why I understand Massie.

Correct on all counts but I'm hoping Trump is holding off on some of this until he gets the Justice Department cleaned up. I wouldn't want them to start trying to prosecute the Epstein perps until they get the people out of there that have been pedo friendly.

Fug that. Fatty, it doesn't save a dime. Government employees get backpay after the shutdowns, furloughs, etc. Its as if they are on a paid vacation. Speaking from experience.
